Allen Neel – CEO

Mr. Neel has been CEO of MS Energy Services since February 2014, and was previously President and CEO from August 2004. Mr. Neel was with Warrior Energy Services (formerly Black Warrior Wireline Corp.) from 1990 until August 2004. Mr. Neel held management positions including Vice President of Operations for Black Warrior Drilling and Completions, Vice President of Black Warrior Mideast, Vice President of Black Warrior Wireline Corp., and most recently Executive Vice President and Secretary of Black Warrior Wireline Corp. Prior to joining Black Warrior, he was a District Manager for Graves Well Drilling. Mr. Neel began his career with Halliburton Services. He received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alabama in 1981.


Geer Blalock – Board Member

Mr. Blalock is a Vice President of Denham Capital Management and is responsible for origination, analysis, structuring, execution, and monitoring of investments for the Oil & Gas Deal Team. Mr. Blalock joined Denham Capital in 2008.

Prior to joining Denham, Mr. Blalock was an Analyst at Randall & Dewey, a division of Jefferies & Company, where he focused on the oil and gas exploration and production industry. Mr. Blalock currently is on the Board of Directors of Cadre Services, Inc. and MS Energy Services. Mr. Blalock received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.


Daniel Goodman – Board Member

Mr. Goodman joined NGP in 2007 and serves as Principal of the NGP funds. Mr. Goodman concentrates on NGP’s efforts in sourcing investments, transaction analysis and execution as well as the monitoring of active portfolios.

Prior to rejoining NGP, Mr. Goodman was an Analyst with UBS Investment Bank’s Global Energy Group in Houston, where he focused on financing and merger and acquisition transactions in the oil and gas and oilfield services industries.

Mr. Goodman received a B.B.A. in Finance in 2004 from The University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the Business Honors Program. He received an M.B.A. in 2011 from Stanford University.

Scott Gieselman – Board Member

Mr. Gieselman joined NGP in 2007 and serves as Managing Director of the NGP funds. He concentrates on NGP’s efforts in sourcing, structuring and executing investments, monitoring existing investments and capital market transactions. Mr. Gieselman brings a unique perspective to NGP having spent a significant portion of his career in the energy industry working on large transactions with publicly-traded companies involving public debt and equity markets. He has a wealth of contacts with leading companies across all spectrums of the industry, including upstream E&P, oil sands, midstream MLP, chemical, regulated and unregulated utilities and oilfield service sectors. Mr. Gieselman also serves as Co-Chair of the Firm's Marketing & Business Development Committee.

Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Gieselman had a successful 20-year career with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he became a Partner in 2002. During his tenure, Mr. Gieselman served in a number of senior management positions in the firm’s Natural Resources Investment Banking division where he ran the West Coast and Southwest energy efforts. While at Goldman, Mr. Gieselman was responsible for leading some of the largest and most complex capital markets transactions in the energy industry totaling over $70 billion in value.

Mr. Gieselman received a B.S. in 1985 from Boston College's Carroll School of Management and an M.B.A. in 1988 from the Carroll Graduate School of Management.
